Easy Tacos

Preparation 15 mins Cooking 15 mins Serves 4


  • 1 Spanish onion, peeled and diced

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  •  250g lean minced beef

  •  2 tablespoons MasterFoods® Sweet Chilli Sauce

  •  300g MasterFoods Red Kidney Beans

  •  ½ cup prepared tomato, onion & garlic pasta sauce

  •  MasterFoods Salt & Black Pepper to taste

  •  2 large lettuce leaves, thinly sliced

  •  2 tomatoes, diced

  •  12 taco shells

  •  1/3 cup light sour cream

  •  1 cup tasty cheese, grated

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C

  2.  Heat the non-stick frying pan. Add oil and onion and sauté for 2 minutes on medium heat, add mince and brown, stir in MasterFoods Sweet Chilli Sauce

  3.  Add MasterFoods Red Kidney Beans and pasta sauce to beef mince mixture

  4.  Season with salt & pepper, simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes

  5.  Heat taco shelf on a tray for 5 minutes, remove from oven

  6.  Fill taco shells with meat mixture, lettuce and tomato.  Top each taco with a spoonful of sour cream and cheese, serve hot
