Easy Tacos

Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 15 minutes
Serves - 8-12

Ingredients

Spanish onions, peeled and diced 2 Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons Lean minced beef 500g MASTERFOODS Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce ¼ cup MASTERFOODS Red Kidney Beans, drained 600g Prepared tomato, onion & garlic pasta sauce 1 cup MASTERFOODS Salt & Black Pepper to taste Large lettuce leaves, thinly sliced 4 Tomatoes, diced 4 Taco shells 24 Light sour cream 2/3 cup Tasty cheese, grated 2 cups

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
  2. Heat the non-stick frying pan. Add oil and onion and sauté for 2 minutes on medium heat, add mince and brown , stir in MASTERFOODS Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce.
  3. Add MASTERFOODS Red Kidney Beans and prepared pasta sauce to beef mince mixture.
  4. Season with salt & pepper, simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Heat taco shelf on a tray for 5 minutes, remove from oven.
  6. Fill taco shells with meat mixture, lettuce and tomato. Top each taco with a spoonful of sour cream and cheese, serve hot.
