Masterfoods Uncle Ben's Kan Tong DOLMIO

Beef Stew

Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 1½ - 2 hours
Serves - 8

Ingredients

Chuck steak, cubed 3kg Extra virgin olive oil 6 tablespoons Large onions, peeled and chopped 4 MASTERFOODS Freshly Chopped Garlic 1 tablespoon Carrots, peeled and chopped 1kg Guinness 2 cans MASTERFOODS Bay Leaves 6 Brown sugar 2 tablespoons Cans diced tomatoes 2 x 400g MASTERFOODS Ground Thyme 2 teaspoons MASTERFOODS Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  2. Place all ingredients in a large casserole dish.
  3. Place into oven and cook uncovered for 1½ - 2 hours, stirring every half hour.

Tip: Serve with creamy mashed potato.
